Yeah, anything to make hate to become more apparent than it already is. UNNECESSARILY. OOOOPS.
EVERY SINGLE TIME THERE HAS BEEN A REMODEL OF THE WHITE HOUSE AND THE GROUNDS IN OUR HISTORY THERE HAVE BEEN PROTESTS AND COMPLAINTS FROM THE PUBLIC DURING THE PROCESS HOWEVER EVERY TIME THE PROCESS HAS BEEN FINISHED, AND THE COMPLETION HAS BEEN WITNESSED BY THE PUBLIC. THERE HAS BEEN NOTHING BUT TOTAL SILENCE.
AND FOR ALL YOU IDIOTS AND YOU HATERS, YOU SHOULD REALIZE THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE ABOUT THE CURRENT REMODELING PROCESS
DONALD TRUMP WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO ENJOY LIVING IN THE REMODELS THAT HE’S COMPLETING IT WILL NOT BE COMPLETED UNTIL AFTER HE LEAVES OFFICE IN ALL PROBABILITY. HE IS DOING THIS FOR THE FUTURE GENERATION OF PRESIDENTS WHO WILL FEEL SAFE AND SECURE AND HAPPY APPROPRIATE WAY TO INVITE KINGS AND RULERS AND FOREIGN DIGNITARIES TO A RESPECTABLE SAFE AND SECURE LOCATION RATHER THAN BUILDING A TENT ON THE WHITE HOUSE LAWN.
Please continue making these, Dr. Heather! They're a brilliant idea.
Each one plants a seed, and there's no knowing where one might take root and grow. You never know who might be inspired by any one of these and decide to take their own agency in hand, and go on to make a difference that could change the world.
Although the concentration is on individuals and what they think is important, I nominate another documentary to be included in 250-250. They would be all the brave individuals who took to the streets of NYC in June of 1969 to protest how gays were treated. This documentary was both horrible and inspiring to watch. Produced in 2023 it includes eyewitness testimony from both rioters and police. It illustrates how hate for gay people was literally taught in schools.
As a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran I usually watch the movie D-Day on June 6, but instead to honor gay Marines I knew in Vietnam I watched the above. These guys and some women, too, went through their own hell right in the good old USA.
Kent and I admire that you are involved in politics but people that are involved in politics that want to do it right try to paint both sides of the picture you're not doing that You're an automatic adversary, which leads people to question your credibility.
Off you would be a lot better off in real realizing that Heather used to be a historian and she changed her Monica Be a radical capitalist and a radical liberal activist and nothing more she has lost her historical moniker IMO.
AND IF YOU ACTUALLY LOOK AT HOW SHE CORRESPONDS HERE IT APPEARS THAT SHE COULD BE READING FROM ALL THE LEFT-WING LINKS TRANSPOSING IT INTO A OF HER OWN WORDS AND THEN USING THE EXACT SAME LINKS TO VALIDATE WHAT SHE'S SAYING, IT'S A CIRCLE JERK
GO BACK AND LOOK AT ANY OF HER LINKS THAT SHE USES TO VALIDATE HER STORIES AND SEE IF THERE EVIDENCE OF A RIGHT WING LEANING SOURCE.
Kent, a lot of people think I'm shouting or people think that you're shouting when you put capital letters I'm not shouting at all. I particularly happen to use my capital letters for EMPHASIS rather than To be able to notice that what I'm typing in capital letters will stand out as more important than the other information So please forgive me if you think I'm shouting.
And I read and listen to Dr. HCR BECAUSE she uses those liberal links. I left the Democratic party this year because I find myself more aligned with Democratic socialists.
Here are a couple of Facebook reels and a YouTube video that convinced me to make the move:
1. A young American woman gets a job in socialist Germany.
And here's another saying that you should take to heart and keep close at hand for the future
The saying usually goes: "If you are not a liberal when you are young, you have no heart; if you are not a conservative when you are old, you have no brain". [https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/26940074/]
The choice is yours. People can become intelligent long before their time If you catch my drift
I went in reverse. I was very conservative growing up in an AF family and in the south. When I began to travel and see the world for myself I knew I'd been lied to by conservatives.
And you didn't reference data---you referenced an EDITORIAL. So one guy has that opinion.
I go back to what Mamdani said this week about Reagan saying 'The nine worst words in the English language are 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.'"
But Mamdani said there are nine more terrible words in the English language: "I worked all day and can't feed my family."
If you can't agree with that statement you are the enemy and I'm doing everything I can to get you and those like you out of government and hopefully working in the fields of those immigrants you've sent back home.
Next time you have a point link a factual statistical document, not an opinion page. You have no business criticizing HCR. She documents EVERYTHING at the bottom of her page. You have done nothing but offer opinion after opinion after opinion. That is Trump on Jan 6 and stolen elections. I do not respect that kind of debate.
If you have actual facts, I'm willing to debate those, but until you do I'm through.
Well, I do it for a reason you can interpret it any way you like but I’m not gonna stop doing it because it provides emphasis and if you think it’s yelling and you don’t like yelling, I’m sorry.
You can’t live on one off you have to look a big picture issues one off don’t work… precisely because they’re one offs.
And I think it’s fine that you subscribe I think it’s great that you subscribe I subscribe as well, but for a totally different reason
When I first came on here, I found her incredibly blind to the entire truth, and I’ve said it to her That she doesn’t commit to the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, she tells the story from a radical left-wing perspective, and she has millions of lemmings that follow along WITHOUT EVVVVVER QUESTIONING HER POSTS CITIZEN, HER SOURCES, OR DOES ANYTHING TO DETERMINE THEIR TRUTH OR VALIDATE THEM?
MY SOLE PURPOSE HERE IS AWARENESS NOTHING MORE TO MAKE PEOPLE AWARE THAT THERE’S ANOTHER SIDE OF THE STORY BUT I HAVE TO TELL YOU MAYBE 2% OF THE PEOPLE ON HER SUBSTACK SITE ACTUALLY HAVE THE TEMERITY TO DISAGREE.
In the meantime when I started coming on here and making people aware of things I was receiving tons of hate mail and I still do however, now in a year I’ve received over 3000 likes with rationale behind their lakes from the users so there’s 3000 people who at least more open-minded than they were a year ago.
Maybe you're trying to be the heckler against HCR that this guy was against Mamdani. Mamdani would think you are doing a good thing with your disagreement.
These films are awesome. This is how we celebrate our country’s anniversary. With understanding of our history and how we can make a better future. With pride in our accomplishments and humility in our failures. With respect for our past and an eye toward our future. 👏🇺🇸🫡
Heather has written at length about the New Deal's architects, and her affection for the Perkins story makes sense: it is a clean example of the mechanism she has repeatedly documented. The people the Social Security Act was designed to protect had no lobby and no particular leverage. What they had was Perkins, and what Perkins had was a clear account of what those lives looked like without it. Someone carried that account into the rooms where decisions were made. That is still, as Heather keeps showing, how it works when it works.
Thank you so much for featuring Fannie Lou Hamer. Whenever people say, " why should I vote" or "voting isn't important" or "I'm not smart enough to understand politics" I think of Hamer. A sharecropper who tried to vote, was beaten and lost her home. It didn't take a college degree for her to know that it was her right as an American to vote. She fought her fears and became a leader. African Americans have had to fight for every constitutional right that White Americans take for granted. We believe in the promise of the Declaration of Independence: "we believe these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal". Trump, the GOP, the Epstein predator class and the MAGA 6 SCOTUS are ignoring the Constitution to return the US nationwide to Jim Crow in which there are two Americas, separate but unequal. Everyone who is not ultrawealthy needs to understand that the dividing line is no longer race but wealth. The ultrawealthy believe that if you are not one of them, "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" does not apply to you. We have to encourage our fellow Americans to vote for their own interests, instead of the corrupt predator class.
💡 “The Light That Outshone the Lies”
In a world full of shadows where tyrants still try,
Where bullies spread darkness and truth starts to cry,
A spark from the past flicked alive in the night—
It came from the families who once chose to fight. 🔥
From the beaches of Europe to islands afar,
Came grandfathers brave like a blazing North Star.
They battled the fascists in World War Two,
Giving all that they had so our freedom stayed true. 🪖
Their courage now echoes in Ukraine today,
Where people stand tall in the very same way.
They push back the tyrant who barges and breaks,
Defending their future no matter the stakes. ✊
And here in America, truth needs us too,
For propaganda spreads fast like a virus will do.
The right-wingers spin while we struggle to eat,
With wages that buckle beneath corporate feet. 🌪️
So the grandparents gathered with wisdom and grit,
“We know how to stand when the world throws a fit!”
They lifted their phones like their elders once fought,
But now with information—the battlefield: thought. 📱
They shared Indy media with clarity bright,
And boosted the watchdogs to spread the true light.
They challenged the fear that the spin doctors claim,
And amplified facts in democracy’s name. 📢
And soon, like a beacon, their posts filled the feed,
A lantern of justice for all those in need.
They carried the legacy passed through the years—
A line of defenders who conquer dark fears. 🛡️
So honor these heroes of past and of now,
Who lift up the truth with a hand to the brow.
For democracy stands when the brave reunite—
From WW2 veterans to grandfolks of light. 🕯️
We are the Pro-Democracy Comment-Crew, using our comments to boost pro-democracy leaders and indie media so the truth can grow!✨🇺🇸🗳️⚖️🕯️
Thank you for your poem...so true 👍🏻 ❤️
Awesome
Thank you
Great
These are really well done. Thank you.
And where are all the great and substantial worldwide wins of the United States of America ?

And your relative relationship between the remodel of the White House and this is what ?
I wasn't trying to respond to anything you posted I was commenting on the videos Heather included in 250. I wanted to add another.
But since you think I responded to what you wrote I have only one suggestion. Please don't shout. People tend to tune out that visual anger.
Have a nice day.

Okay. Some people do EXACTLY what you say, but usually typing single word in caps draws more attention to a line, paragraph, or thought.
There is a whole etiquette for understanding capitalization in written communication. You can read about it here:

Very glad to have these uplifting vignettes of American history with wonderful narrators. Thank you for sharing, Heather.

I love these short videos! Shades of, but better than, the “Bicentennial Minutes” on TV in 1976. Or was it 1989?

She carried that message. It was Perkins’ work as a social activist that made her so effective. She is an American hero.
These are wonderful. Thank you for celebrating our Nation's history with dignity and honor.
Yes, the videos are much better than MMA fights on the White House lawn. 🫶🏼
Thank you to all who made these 250 videos!!!! A true tribute to 250 years of democracy! ❤️👍🏻❤️
More great videos. Thank you so much for these! I wrote about Eisenhower’s In Case of Failure message too. https://picturingpresidents.substack.com/p/in-case-of-failure?r=2gqik
I had read about that before, but to see it in his writing..
Hard to imagine that happening today.
The real problem is, we don’t have to imagine it. We have to live it. We have to change it.
Agreed!
My husband and I went to see the new movie about D-Day, Pressure, today. Excellent.

These are excellent - history in bite sized pieces. Thank you so much!
These are wonderful. Thank you. Of special significance to me, the piece on Ellis Island.
Thank you, Heather!
They are absolutely wonderful. Reminders of what is good about this country. Thank you so much for the restoration of a bit of faith.
Wonderful way to spend a few hours, watching great videos on people who have help build this great, imperfect, country. Thank you.
