Biden cleverly takes the wind out the GOP's sails. The Republicans have wanted to make the election about the economy, and if that economy is recovering, jobs continue to be created, gas prices have dropped significantly, what can they accuse him of, how is he failing? Sure hope this gains lots of traction!

It all depends on how the media (NYT and WaP0) handle and publicize this (or not). They have a hard time celebrating Biden's accomplishments. There are massive capital invenstments in projects in NC and elsewhere. The word has to get out.......
Is the Fed being rigidly obtuse, or do they simply want to push down wages and harm Biden so the owning class can be ever richer in an ever poorer country?
given that there are more jobs now than ever before (10 million in 2 years), pushing down inflation so $100,000 houses cost $250,000 instead of $400,000 doesn't seem undesirable, especially as contract work start dates are 3 years out at the moment.
Biden has been pushing down inflation by successful steps to lower gas prices and by fostering competition so that meat packers, for example, do not have 4 companies controlling the whole market.
The Fed raising interest rates, in contrast, is meant to keep wages down. Since wages are not the drivers of inflation, that will harm workers without helping anyone else, other than owners of large companies who are already doing very well.
This election and probably the 2024 election are going to be referendums one one overarching topic: the fundamental rights of American citizens, individually and collectively. Democrats especially tend to thrill at the intricate policies they propose to accomplish their dreams while Republicans focus on the emotions that can be generated with a focus on moral attitudes and behaviors. Biden won the nomination and the election becaused he recognized that we as a nation are at a crossroads in settling the issue of the role of democracy in our federal republic. This is THE issue.

Also the Fed is deliberately planning to increase unemployment by raising interest rates in order to end inflation.

If each of us makes that point to at least one friend... :)

Only if the MSM allow it. I doubt it will sell ads as well as trump tweets. HeтАЩs their cash cow, and the sun around which all ad dollars rotate.
