DT sounds like a jealous girlfriend in his reaction to Putin praising Xi. But even so, if a hostile foreign power actually had the direct power to destroy the United States they could not do a more thorough job tha this regime is doing.

Names change what leaders do.

Professor Richardson, appreciate the line, “the mission of the Department of Defense is to deter war and ensure our nation’s security.” Here’s the turn: calling it the War Department isn’t a rebrand, it’s a permission structure. It primes you to accept permanent offense while treating oversight as noise.

Your receipts make it plain. The covert boat strike and the earlier SEAL op that killed fishermen without briefing the Gang of Eight show how secrecy expands once “war” frames the day. Because when the word is War, exceptions become the rule. Pair that with six straight months of manufacturing contraction and BLS chaos. Because economic anxiety is oxygen for a strongman story, and a warrior ethos sells best when home feels brittle.

If this lands, recommend Heather’s letter tonight and drop one statute or date you’re watching in the comments. For compact receipts that pair with her history work, I keep a running file at www.xplisset.com. No blank checks. No myths. Civic muscle only.
