Gee, I missed that. Somehow I thought that today's letter was devoted to Biden's extraordinary speech yesterday. Well, maybe I'm getting old.

Getting old? You are using that as an excuse and smarty pants sarcasm again for being plain rude including when it is not necessary. Some are hopeless because they do not hear themselves and don't understand the reaction they get- Not to mention that SOME don't know how to have a conversation or what is actually related to it. Yeah you missed a lot.

Well, you didn't answer the question.

I did answer to you your question right out of the gate, repeating myself. That is no excuse for your response. You are still trying to excuse yourself. Here's a question for you. Do you know how to have a conversation? Here is another question: why don't you contribute your answer?

Gentlepeople, please don't fight each other. We're all in this together. Re-read Biden's speech and take a deep breath and let's get to work.

I agree. When you get snark, or a punch, though, it needs response...gentle as possible but strong. I have tried not to name call, but I guess my pushback can be so construed... ie "smarty pants" (rather mild imo).

The problem with Biden's speech is that he is talking to a select audience and what he is saying needs reverberation and repetition and discussion. It's not enough for some of us to read it, if we do. I find that people, even here, do not know how to discuss with respect.

Most do.

I agree with the lack of effective and repetitive positive messaging on behalf of what's best for the future of this country. Not even most Americans got a sense of what Joe said. A sound bite, maybe. But that's all. Speaking of punches, they're thrown all day long from tfg. Without responses.
