So happy the courts have stepped up to stop Trump, who will undoubtedly just make him work faster. Congress won't even stop the war.

I'm talking about his D.C. projects.

I couldn't help liking the scum on his cement pond.

I appreciate the rabbit holes personally. I would love a deeper dive on the modern Republican Party. Particularly how Reagan shaped the GOP in a way that essentially branded the GOP into public folklore about a time of prosperity that wasn’t. It’s incredible how that works. And there are some analogies here with MAGA rewriting the entire party and repeating the same lies over and over again until people hear it so much they believe it.

In a way that’s the story of Reaganism as well. Most of what he took credit for he didn’t actually do, and his failures were insurmountable. It’s not a coincidence that no one talks about Iran-Contra. It’s one of the most significant events in the 80’s and no one talks about it.

Or the wealth transfer, or the skyrocketing national debt. But worst of all was his record on civil rights. I believe there was some prosperity for some people in the 80’s but he systematically mass incarcerated entire minority communities. This has had generational impact which we have not recovered and perhaps other policies of Reaganism that we will never recover from. If you want A brilliant and bit obscure take on Reaganism, song “Reagan” but killer Mike. Gives me chills when I hear it. Almost prophetic.

Thank you for your work and historical context. Can you shed more light on succession scenarios historically, at least. And interviews re present tense succession developments?
