The rank and file are just lemmings who are led by hate, the socialism scare word, and/or any other phony cause (red herring) that their think tanks can come up with to arouse emotion, (CRT, unquestioned life for zygotes, Christianity under attack, evil libtards, etc.). Sad but true. Dreaming dreamy dreams of functional, values-driven government might provide inspiration--but, agreed, we can't settle in for soothing fantasies. Still, I think, worth a laugh at a good zinger.
