Did I say it was the same? Don't be absurd. As a member of a family that had a baby (despite some major challenges) and helped in many ways, can I voice an opinion? Of course. And when did I express an opinion on women's bodies in this discussion?
One thing to mention here. Some of us have been fighting for women's' rights for literally decades. This includes the societal issues around breastfeeding. At this point we are exhausted, deeply upset and fearful for women's futures in this Country. Any rhetoric is most likely to be loaded with emotion. We are bereft and are in a grief process. I personally vacillate between rage and tears on a daily basis. So please accept my sincere apologies for any snark.
