The real story that someone should be highlighting here at some point, is how common neurological issues are among veterans. My late husband, a Navy Vet, died of ALS. Having been a frequent visitor to the VA clinic in Minneapolis, I can tell you that the numbers of veterans being treated for various neurological conditions like Parkinson’s are big, and growing at a rapid rate, and most of the conditions seen are fatal - not to mention how devastating caring for a loved with these conditions is to family and friends. This has been a giant, hidden story about how military service leads to deadly neurological conditions for years. Yet these damn useless “journalists” look at the click bait story trying to find dirt on the President and salivate. And abuse the Press secretary unmercifully - with apparently complete ignorance of HIPPA laws.
And why, for the love of god, are these same journalists not screaming at the Trump campaign about releasing Trumps medical records. The guy can’t string three coherent sentences together. The media? Crickets. Thank heavens for Substack.
Sheila, 💔❤️🩹 I’m so sorry that your husband and you had to deal with this dread malady. Our country OWES a debt to our current and former military members (and their families who also “serve”) & we must see to it that all are provided decent and timely medical services….good grief, that is the very LEAST that should be done. I am glad that Biden has unwavering support of our troops. That press conference with Karine being badgered was painful to watch, but she handled it adroitly and assertively, while I wanted to lunge thru my TV screen & tell the guy to STFU!!!—-but she’s too classy for that!
