Do not be fooled by a poor debate performance! Debating is not a part of Presidential duties.
President Biden's debate performance overall was not horrible, the first 20 mins were awful I agree, Trump however continued to lie for another 70 mins.
Trump was himself, Biden was not. Don’t try to downplay it as a bad day. that doesnt happen to my 84 year old dad. I am a doctor that spends a lot of time with old folks, something is up.
Biden was not feeling well. Also, he's not an actor (as is tffg). Biden is not perfect but he is honest and reliable. I believe his mind is good and he has good people working with him. I'm sure he would like to rest, but he loves our country and will save our democracy. Who would you suggest to take his place?
Well, I would CERTAINLY suggest either Kamala Harris or Gretchen Whitmer. In fact, I now think BOTH of them should run on the ticket, because I think we can't really take Kamala off as she has been VP for almost 4 years, but Gretchen would be the strongest candidate in the states that are "swing". This is a NARROW election in which the important thing is to win 4 of the states out of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada. And those two women, who on every talkshow, every news program, both appear FAR FAR superior intellectually to Biden at this point (regardless of whether they actually are or not, right now appearance is the MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF WINNING) can do it. I believe Biden can not any more.
You need to face the reality... Many people now have and they are starting to come out of the woodwork. We are in the last dying days of the Biden campaign and I am hopeful that it will help turn this election around.
People not feeling well don't have a blank stare, fumbling speech, monotone and weak voice, loss of thought. That's called dementia.
You are insulting everyone's intelligence with the spin.
As for saving democracy? What did you call the COVID lock down? A police state? Locked in your home, fired from your job, and your free speech censored? That sounds a lot like a loss of democracy.
Really???..are you a neurologist????....Most of what Biden said was accurate though he fumbled etc...Yeah...If you are exhausted...not feeling well..jet lagged, plus over prepared...and met with GISH Gallop by your opponent.(in Wikipedia...produces Confusion)..that changes your conclusion that it is dementia...AND you need a neurologist/give a full test...PLUS since and before debate no repeat scenarios...REMEMBER he has a stuttering problem LIFELONG which Does produce speech fluidity problems (gaffes) and can produce thought delays as well...BUT this is Rarely mentioned as a Logical explanation...Look it up!!!
James, would you please share your credentials/experience that entitle you to pronounce that Biden, or anyone, has dementia? Because that is a strong, strong statement and I would like to be reassured that anyone making such a diagnosis about the POTUS has the necessary training to do so. Thank you.
As Wittgenstein said "What is it when EVERYTHING speaks in favor of something, and nothing against it"
These are the symptoms:
Memory Loss
Lack of Concentration
Weak Voice
Fumbling Speech
Poor Concentration
If you want to claim on a public post that this is all untrue you are a fool. No one believes you. The media has been lying about his condition for years.
The blank stare, the fumbling speeches, and physical instability.
James, I don't know why you are so angry. Or why you feel the need to attack me.
this is how I feel. I feel Biden is a good person. He's also been a great president. For some reason people think he should be perfect... well, he's human. As I asked before, who would suggest should take his place?
Biden is a terrific person. But he is going to lose this election. That is pretty much as plain as day. I do NOT seek perfection. But I do seek someone who can win. Biden himself was asked what happens if you don't win and his answer was "As long as I know I did the best i could, I will be fine." That is the answer we give in elementary school if we lose the spelling bee. That is NOT the answer you give when you are in the race to save our democracy. "The best you could" isn't good enough.
Why, oh why is the Lincoln Project and Progress Radio the only ones on the offensive? Nothing gets to Trump more than challenging his lies or anything personal about him.
The Biden campaign needs to ask Trump to step down for lying 602 times during the CNN so called debate. And they need to call out CNN for being AWFUL at their jobs.
Plus they need to call out the RNC platform that is Project 2025 lite,
Tell Trump we don't want anymore HARRM done--
NO HATE
NO ANGER
NO REVENGE
NO RESENTMENT
NO MISINFORMATION
And start showing Trump's fat ass as he shuffles off stage. He is a dotard as Kim Jon Un called it.
Here's Convicted Felon Donald Trump's first three sentences of the debate.
You count the lies.. 4 lies in 3 sentences. I know you said to name ONE lie, but he is so good at compound lying, I couldn't help myself.
"We had the greatest economy in the history of our country. We had never done so well. Every – everybody was amazed by it. Other countries were copying us.
The Republican fallacy is that we measure everything before the pandemic and then after. CFDT was President for 4 years not three, so reciting 3 year statistic is meaningless. 2) Unemployment overall was pretty good before the pandemic, but not so much with people of color. And again, there was 2020. CFDT and the Republicans threw away the pandemic playbook and allowed Trump to make decisions that he didn't have the knowledge to make. He was told about the dangers of the pandemic in late 2019 and did nothing to prepare for it. Once the pandemic was raging, he left JFK customs wide open with no testing or masks. Of course, this ran against the CDC pandemic playbook likely killing thousands of people in New York alone. I don't disagree that up until January, 2020 the economic mood was good. But then the economy tanked. Putting Jared in charge was a joke. The guy doesn't have the brains God gave lettuce.
As for the economy, Trump made several critical mistakes 1) cutting taxes for the rich and corporations. Trickle down economics doesn't work. It led to the $7.9 trillion in increased debt under Trump. And who's complaining about the national debt now -- the Republicans. And the 35 day Federal government shutdown cost the economy billions of dollars and forced people on fixed incomes and Federal workers to borrow money or pay their bills late. This was 100% Trump's fault. And what did he get for it? Nada. CFDT also pressured Jerome Powell into reducing interest rates to zero which left no room to stimulate the economy once the pandemic hit. And oil prices went negative for a day because the petroleum oil reserve was full and there was nowhere to store the excess oil being pumped from the active wells. If this happened today, there is enough room to keep the domestic wells from being capped which also was bad for the economy. So overall, CFDT's economy and his policy were haphazard and disasters. The Biden administration inherited the mess created by the Trump administrations incompetence and were blamed for supply chain issues which took time to resolve.
Here's a request for you.
Name 4 things that the Trump administration accomplished in their 4 years that made America great. There are dozens more things they messed up, but name just 4 things that made America great.

No other choice, really.
Do you believe in Ronald McDonald too?

This is too stupid to believe.

Really. Does Trump a his support ers deserve that respect?
He has been a terrible president.
The border is a mess
Core inflation is 25-30%
Foreign policy is a joke
Not by any metric is good president
These are the facts not feelings
Debate was not horrible? What were you watching?
By the way name 1 lie?
Biden lied blatantly about being endorsed by the Border Patrol Union. During the debate the Union tweeded "We have never endorsed Joe and never will"
It takes a lot stones to lie like that.
Why, oh why is the Lincoln Project and Progress Radio the only ones on the offensive? Nothing gets to Trump more than challenging his lies or anything personal about him.

I tell the truth, then give my opinion.
1) GDP before the pandemic was 3-4%, after Obama never exceeded 2%
2) Unemployment was historically low, best since the 1950's
3) Economic mood was good.
Was it the greatest economy in history, NO. It was it very good historically YES. The greatest is an exaggeration.
We did have the best economy in the world circa 2016,-2019.
Did Biden lie about the border patrol union?
