Frances Perkins was the person most responsible for our having Social Security. What was the New Deal? It was Pragmatic Capitalism. It wasn’t Democratic Socialism. That’s a stupid term and causes more harm than good, besides simply being wrong.
This is why I tell you to my grown fucking business when I was 21 first started working for a living. And didn’t get cash for the work I was doing like mowing lawns and delivering newspapers and so I’m getting a paycheck. That would’ve been like early 70s… The news back then was that the Social Security program will go broke in 2032. I bet nobody will receive any money after that so start saving. That was on TV. It was a newspapers. It was a talked about topic at college. This is why you should mind your own business.
