Some more thoughts on Greenland…

Operation Arctic Endurance

Trump says we will take it no matter the cost—

declares in our region the U.S. is boss.

That we must have Greenland—by hook or by crook—

it soon will be known as The Land That We Took.

Our good friends in Europe respond, “That’s enough!”

The Danish, the Germans, the Brits, and the Dutch,

the Swedes, the Norwegians and allies from France

have begun Operation Arctic Endurance.

To “strengthen the region’s security”

they’re sending in forces on land and at sea—

tanks, troops and frigates, with nuclear subs.

To Donald J. Trump, it’s the ultimate snub.

NATO protection from one of its own!

Who’d ever have thought it? The U.S. Alone.

A nation gone rogue—like Russia—a threat.

One that our allies will not soon forget.

Unquestionably resonant is this anti-Trump/anti-Epstein-Class legal document, the complete text of the Jane Doe lawsuit against Trump and Epstein -- later withdrawn in response to death threats against the plaintiff: https://cdn.factcheck.org/UploadedFiles/Johnson_TrumpEpstein_Lawsuit.pdf

Please let us ensure this text is linked early (and therefore prominently) on as many Resistance sites as possible every day until the traitorous regime of ecogenocidal Christonazi pedophiles is no more. (I'll do my best to be responsible for this posting, but I am 85 years old and terminally ill, which means others need be ready to pick up the torch on days I am absent and after I am no more.)

Thank you, Loren! Stay tuned for a poem on this lawsuit in the coming days on Never Trump Poetry.

Dear Loren,

As promised. This poem was just published in collaboration with Michael Broder on our Never Trump Poetry Substack.

Jane Doe v. Trump and Epstein

In the Southern District of New York State

Two decades after the fact

Jane Doe filed suit in federal court

To wrest her dignity back

The plaintiff swore at the of age thirteen

In the summer of ’94

She was abused four times in body and soul

Behind Jeff Epstein’s door

Twice by him and twice by Trump—

The details far too graphic

To put in this poem, but all set forth

In the pleadings—the ways she was trafficked

She came by bus in pursuit of her dream

To model a dress or a hat

But they told her she’d never get very far

Unless she went farther than that

Tiffany cheered her with tales of men

With money in suits of blue

At parties who helped pretty girls like Jane

And made their dreams come true

Tiffany Doe, who worked for Jeff

Swore to the court under oath

That she had witnessed it all herself

What Epstein and Donald had both

Done to Jane—in a lawsuit filed

In September of 2016

That was quickly dismissed voluntarily—

Jane Doe was afraid to be seen

She feared for her life, besieged with threats

After candidate Trump declared

Jane was lying — a tool of the Radical Left

Kept hidden was all she had bared

These facts now revealed after so many years

At last we now can see

As one man lies buried in silence

And the other — though guilty — runs free

Loren, may your wishes shine on all for all time to come!

" never trump" is tip of the iceberg! check out in a sweage plant noted as X, you will know the gangrene is deep.

Start by dismantling Heritage foundation, expose their inconsistencies in everything they pursued to dismantle Democratic Institutions, move on to judeochristian zealot fascistas.

You got a decade worth of incessant struggle.

we talk then.

Readers, write the embassies of our European Allies! Show some solidarity against the threats of Trump! This is easy to do. Just search for the Embassy of Denmark in DC. You will find contact information, email address and phone numbers! While you are at it , go down the list of comments and give a thumbs up to comments that you agree with. Solidarity is a matter of numbers. Take a minute, that is all it takes! Greenland, Canada, Mexico, Denmark, Germany, France, Norway, UK, all the member states of NATO. Trump sends letters of support of Putin, and Un. Don't let that go unanswered!

excellent idea. Then rubio will be on our back " denaturalising"( brown here)!

What stands out to me is that this is a history of (mostly) white men deciding what to do with land that, if it belonged to anyone, belonged to the Native American tribes who had lived here long before any Europeans came to lay claim to their territory. It's no wonder from that point of view that we are where we are now. However powerful people (white men in charge in particular) think they are, the Earth and Mother Nature will have the final word. If we do not learn as a species to live in harmony with each other and with our beautiful planet She will and should exert her rulership.

White Men In Charge, WMICs, pronounced "whim-icks." Thank you, oh thank you, Cheryl Ann Fulton, for giving us, whether intentionally or not, an exquisitely malicious acronym for the ecogenocidal ruling class. A useful variant would be WSMICS, White Supremacist Men In Charge, pronounced "whiz-mics." Or Christian White Supremacist Men in Charge CWSMICs, "quiz-mics," as in "Outside the liberated buildings, the ousted CWSMICs were chanting invocations to the god of doom." Ms. Fulton, you made my day; I am wearing a grin so wide it makes my face hurt.

humans are a planetary plague.

not to say that there aren't a lot of 'good ones'...but, obviously, there are enough unhealthy ones to poison the ecosystem...which, supposedly, is already breaking down...

people who have thought that the notion of humans affecting the planet to the point of it 'shutting down' is arrogant...i don't agree...something is going on, it would seem, from the catastrophes everywhere...that, in addition to what we do on a daily basis...and i remember how cold the winters were when i first got to this country 25 yrs ago...face biting cold...needed at least two pairs of gloves, etc...it's 50 degree fahrenheit at the moment...

if i told people here, 25 yrs ago, that this would be the case...they'd smile and nod...and never take me seriously again...

i remember, a few decades ago, when Fukushima happened...and they said it would take 20 yrs to fix. i wonder how much radiation got into sealife...and then spread throughout the foodchain. and, of course, that's just one event...

and yes, Cheryl...it is a most amazing planet...the diversity of life is...indescribably delicious.

it's a sad shame what we've done with the place...

Isaac Mizrahi's avatar

and i'll tell you what's hurt all my life when i've thought about it...

is knowing i was actually living in a period where humans COULD end many of the basic problems...that working together we could have made this place the Eden that many have dreamed of...

Isaac Mizrahi's avatar

and blame isn't going to fix it...

Robin Gangopadhya's avatar

FYI: 25 yrs ago ,you would be told. " go back to where you came from, you AH" if you did not look it...a mizrahi, medoubts....

Isaac Mizrahi's avatar

maybe there's a misunderstanding...i was born and raised in the US...i left there(over) 25 yrs ago...'this country' is in Europe...

I never learned any of this in school- not even in college. Fascinating and to think that it could have all blown up over egos or nationalism 😳 Thank you Heather❣️

My thanks also; I only knew small parts of it, this in ancestral stories told by my father. (We were Loyalists, deported without compensation in 1788.)

My grandmother was descended from Thomas Jefferson's uncle according to family lore, and implied to be Loyalists that went to Nova Scotia.

I saw a post about the monetary cost to the US if we try to take Greenland based on US Treasury notes the European nations hold. If they dump them- it could cause a recession. Can you comment on this?

Becoming a republic was no mean task. We should all understand how any such effort involves international efforts. For over 200 years, the United States has held that republic with difficulty. We almost lost in 1812 and again in 1861. I fear we are on the brink of losing it again. The current administration has no respect for the founders nor for the commons they established.

Trump would have us establish another kingdom, 180 degrees from what the founders intended. We must resist with everything at our disposal to ensure this does not happen.

Robin Gangopadhya's avatar

nope- pl see my response to " never trumper".

I would imagine that Trump supporters , with the assurance from RFKjr,are the most sparsely vaccinated population in our country. This would be a terrible time for the Chinese , the apparent source of Covid 19, to take advantage.

Yes, by all means; change the subject. The last thing the gods of profit want is for us to have a better understanding of human behavior.

I didn’t realize how likely it is that the non-punitive truce with the Confederacy after the Civil War may have taken inspiration from the treaty the Americans negotiated with the British after the Revolutionary War.

Well you have to expect lengthy time periods when working on real estate deals while inventing and manufacturing belief in 'manifest destiny' at the same time.

The land had to come from somewhere. Since the natives were "Savages" and were not using it, they had to go.

Remind you of anyone folks.

Great thanks to HRC for a fabulous history lesson!

Thanks for mentioning Thomas Mifflin. We have a town called West Mifflin near Pittsburgh, so I looked him up, and sure enough he signed the US Constitution and served as Pennsylvania's first governor.

A recall of literature...

A moment from Merchant of Venice similarity here with ICE:

You can take a pound of flesh from Aliens but you cannot take a drop of blood --- ie you cannot kill maim use brutal force , use military style weapons nor can you dress up!

Everything ICE does that look like Pound of flesh from above , there shall be not a drop of blood. Now, pay ransom monies to each victim!

What ICE does, it is all illegal. QED
