But there is an online news show that is… Five Minute News hosted by Anthony Davis. Over the weekend, he spent an hour and a half interviewing an expert in cult psychology who detailed how Trump has managed to Brainwash (though he also used the word hypnotize) millions of Americans. It was a very sophisticated conversation and I recommended to all who want to better understand the psychological warfare we are up against. Here’s the link…
I wonder the same, “is any mainstream news organization up to the challenge?” Why didn’t Welker politely end the interview with Trump after calling him out on his lie(s)? It was the perfect opportunity.
They act very afraid of him. They have a right to be. They have to deal with an insane madman sitting across from them who lies extremely well and has millions who voted for him. In addition, he has the power to cause harm to them and their family and says he will hurt the Press.
Maybe she felt intimated by Trump. When you have a president-elect threatening to after officials who serve this country by telling the truth about Trump who is a pathological liar, she probably felt scared or it was better just to listen to him keep on rambling on with lies.
I will watch the YouTube by Anthony Davis that you recommend. I agree using hypnotize is the better word. Along with selective hearing, and turning a blind eye. It’s exasperating to understand. Thanks for this recommendation. It’s important to share the places and people we are reading, watching, and listening to and sharing this information.
I am not sure what the right word is for the human flaw that can turn the bulk of whole societies sociopathic. History shows how bad it can be. We need to teach so much more caution around hubris. It can kill us all.
