So much swampiness . . .

Roberts and his Kangaroo Court will go down in history as hopeless corrupt and VERY poorly led. He should be DEEPLY ashamed, but instead, he will just whine like the corrupt, partisan snowflake that he is. Such an embarrassment. . . . .

Glad to see you got this done before midnight your time! Thanks as always.

'Clarence Thomas Hikes Price of Supreme Court Decisions to Keep Pace with Inflation'

'WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Citing “unfortunate economic realities,” Clarence Thomas is hiking the price of Supreme Court decisions to keep up with inflation.'

'The jurist disclosed his new rate card in a mass e-mail sent to more than a hundred super-donors.'

“I have tried to keep my prices reasonable, but, as inflation proves more stubborn than predicted, I have no choice but to adjust my rates accordingly,” he wrote.

“Sadly, the days of shredding civil rights in exchange for ten private-jet flights are over,” he added.

'It remains to be seen whether the billionaires who received Thomas’s e-mail will tolerate his steeper prices or whether they will explore a budget option such as Neil Gorsuch.' (Satire, NewYorker)

I love "The Borowitz Report." Satire can cut to the chase in a heartbeat.

What about those WHITE BILLIONAIRES? Are they scot free by America's 'rule of law'?

Fern, it is an interesting issue. Could it be perceived as bribery? I can say this without fear of contradiction: in my experience, no trial judge would have stayed in the case if he/she had received a gift of any kind from a party to a lawsuit. Highly unethical, and in this case, perhaps illegal, or should be.

Both, Richard, both. What a disgusting set of revelations.

Thank you, Richard. I think you may have calmed a group of heated hearts and angry minds, of course, not mine!

Fern, thank you for this. As always, Borowitz hits the nail on the head.

Gorsuch as a budget item indeed.

Thank you, Fern McBride! Today we need a good Borowitz to relax as we await de judge in DC.

Fern, I can see it now <satire>: For only two additional vacations, you can obtain the assistance of Ginni Thomas to obtain legal counsel from her firm just in case her husband is overruled by the other justices.
