Thank you Heather. Chinese Americans learned to fight back in the courts, as it was the last resort option for many. Luckily the Supreme Court came through in 1898. During the April 5 "Hands Off" Rally in DC my sign was "Hands Off Our Minority History" The photo on the left side of the sign was one of John Lewis and Good Trouble. The photo on the right side was of Wong Kim Ark with his name (I don't think people know about Wong Kim Ark).
I have been following you for years and so appreciate your commitment and efforts. It has made a difference, but you’re preaching to the choir. I challenge you and all Democratic legislators to glue yourselves to a Republican legislator everyday and bombard them with questions as to why they are allowing this administration to destroy our country. Ask them the hard questions. Participate in press conferences. Record and post every time you do this. The public is educated. Now is the time to educate the GOP legislators. Show them we aren’t backing down.
